I left school at the age of 17 and have since built over 40 years experience working with companies & charities across Surrey, Hampshire & London. my experience spans sales, marketing, property and finance along with over 25 years in the media industry, including as Managing Director of Eagle Radio. I have also held a number of trustee roles with local charities and am currently the vice-Chair of Aldershot Town Football Club -Shots Foundation.
During my time at Eagle Radio we launched our own charitable trust and created Surrey & Hampshire`s local Hero Awards. We also launched a business podcast station & introduced a media academy for schools & colleges.
At UKRD, Eagle Radio`s parent company, we received Industry accolades for our values-based approach to business and in particular our staff welfare and team development initiatives. We were crowned as winners of the Sunday Times `Best Companies’ on four consecutive occasions.
Since founding Paul Marcus Media, I have been lucky enough to collaborate with colleagues to deliver a range of specialist media services including Radio & Podcast Workshops For Schools.
I am the proud co-founder of both The Surrey Charity Network- a collaborative meeting place for industry professionals. In 2024, I became a director of Business In Surrey that hosts a bi-annual business expo and collaborative networking opportunities.
